GOTTHARD End Association With Ex-KROKUS Bassist

Switzerland's GOTTHARD have parted ways with their long time collaborator, songwriter/producer Chris Von Rohr (ex-KROKUS bassist). Von Rohr reportedly appeared on Swiss television and stated that he feels that the band have reached the absolute pinnacle with their latest CD, entitled Homerun, and it's time for him and the group to move on. He also stressed that the split is absolutely amicable.

As previously reported, GOTTHARD's recently-issued compilation of ballads, entitled One Life, One Soul, entered the Swiss charts at number one — the group's sixth number one album in succession (a feat that even the legendary KROKUS apparently weren't able to match). The album was certified double-platinum and is looking likely to become one of the band's biggest releases to date.
